"A good value"
I ordered the SE 330 inflatable boat for use in bays. I didn't have much room for storage and didn't want to buy a car rack for transportation. I inspected a SE 330 to ascertain the strength of the material prior to ordering. I ordered directly from the manufacture due to shipping issues.
The foot pump is actually fun the first couple of times you use it. I also have the electric pump that plugs into you car's cigarette lighter. Note that it is a little challenging getting the adapter at the end of the air hose out of certain parts of the boat after inflation.
The first thing to remember is that the pictures you see of a SE 330 being used are on calm water or on a flowing stream. The biggest challenge I had was paddling against the wind. In some cases I wouldn't be making much progress paddling against the wind when someone in a fiberglass kayak would row past me. In some cases I couldn't make any progress against the wind.
I use the SE 330 for salt water fishing. It is rugged enough that I don't have to worry about hitting rocks or dragging it across the sand.
I would recommend buying the package with the upgraded seats that have back support for rowing against the wind.
For the conditions I fish in it is next to impossible to find as much value or utility for the price I paid.
