"It is easy!"
I'm a middle aged, non-athletic woman and have very little trouble handling this boat on my own. I'm more used to canoes so the kayak-style paddling is throwing me for a loop for awhile, but otherwise, it handles nicely. I think it will hold 3 only if one is a child.
