"Stable in the wind"

I have had my 375FC including skegs out on some very windy lakes with my #55 trust electric motor and felt secure with the stability and power (3 MPH). I sit on the rear high-chair. The motor is difficult to steer because it is close behind you when you are fishing.

I pulled the folded boat in the carrying case across some concrete and it wore a hole through the case AND the boat hull clean through to both sides of the pontoon!!! Sooo...you need to be very careful because the pontoon material can be easily damaged by abrasion. It was easy to patch.

I am thinking to buy the 285 boat so it will be easier to set up when I am by myself. The 375FC is better handled by two people.
